Tuition Fees

Tuition fees are in Australian dollars and are yearly fees based on enrolment in eight subjects per year. If a student chooses to enrol in more than eight subjects per year, the tuition fees payable will increase pro rata according to the number of subjects in which they are enrolled. Fees quoted for the PQP programs are for four subjects, which is the total number of subjects that have to be completed in these courses.

The tuition fee liability incurred by Continuing Students is subject to increase at a rate compounded annually based on the student's year of commencement, in increments of not greater than 4 per cent or the annual Australian CPI rate. All subsequent increments are applied from 1 January each year, irrespective of the Teaching Period/Trimester in which the student commenced. Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSA Fee)

As a JCU student, you must pay the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSA Fee).

It is charged at $40.95 per 3 credit point subject to a maximum of $273 per year in 2013 increasing to $42.15 in 2014

The income from the SSA Fee is used to improve services and facilities on and off campus. The SSA Fee is helping to build a better university experience for you.

Fees are correct at time of printing and may be subject to change without notice. All three trimesters are compulsory enrolment periods for students who are studying while on a student visa. A trimester is approximately four months long.
