Marketing professionals require a broad skills set to understand sales and promotion, product research and development, consumer demand, customer service and effective communication. Today’s marketing professional must be able to assess current business trends for optimal positioning of their organisation.

The major combines foundation business subjects with specialist marketing topics including integrated marketing communications, consumer behaviour, sustainable marketing management, international marketing, strategic marketing, applied marketing research and interactive marketing. Students may enhance their backgrounds by combining Marketing with a second business major such as Management, International Business or Hospitality and Tourism Management.
