Slovenian student follows her passion
Before coming to Australia Slovenian student Julija decided it
was time for a career change, from her industrial relations/HR role
to following her passion for hospitality. With this in mind Julija
enrolled in the Master of International Tourism & Hospitality
Management program at JCU Brisbane.
While studying Julija visited Joblinx to register for roles in
events management or marketing that may become avaliable.
Within two days Joblinx contacted Julija with a possible
opportunity as an Event Management/Marketing Coordinator with a
large national membership organisation.
After an initial interview with the recruitment company that
advertised for the position, Julija attended a second interview
with the employer, who were very impressed and offered her the
part-time role.
Joblinx was able to link Julija's final internship subject with
her new job and once Julija completes her internship she will be
employed on a full time basis with the organisation.
