‘Become a CPA’ Student Seminars

JCU Brisbane students recently attended the 'Become a CPA' Seminar held at the Brisbane CPA office, accompanied by Lecturer Robyn Parry.

Open to all university students, the seminar provided information about the CPA program, and the chance for students to develop a personal CPA Australia contact point that will be able to assist students with future enquiries.

Attendees who had initially planned to enrol in the 2012 CPA program were pleasantly surprised when they were given a free preliminary assessment of their education and qualifications to determine the starting point of their journey into the CPA Program. This assessment is normally valued at $A138.

The event attracted over 100 students from several universities. If you missed out on your chance, not to worry as CPA will be conducting two consecutive seminars, on Thursday 15 December, at the following times:

1st session: 3.30pm to 5.00pm

2nd session: 5.30pm to 7.00pm

Robyn has again volunteered to accompany students to the seminar. Students who wish to take up this offer can meet her on level 2 at 5pm on the day.
