It is recommended that you arrive in time for Registration and Orientation Week so you can take part in the compulsory workshops.  Attendance is important to provide you with an understanding of what is expected of you as a student, this will also ensure you are fully equipped to excel in your chosen program.

These workshops will show you how to navigate the JCU and JCU Brisbane websites.  Here you will be able to access your course materials, communicate with your lecturers and obtain useful resources and research materials that will assist you in your studies.

Important information such as your health insurance, personal wellbeing, safety, and public transport will also be covered during Registration. Orientation Day is also your opportunity to meet the Campus Director, the Associate Deans' and key support staff. At the same time you will be able to familiarise yourself with the new surroundings and make some friends along the way.
