Student Council

Who are we?

The JCU Brisbane Student Council (JCUBSC) is a team of committed student leaders who form a bridge of communication between the students and JCU Brisbane staff which allows us to address issues/concerns affecting the students. We do this to improve and enhance your student experience.

What do we do?

The JCU Brisbane Student Council has been instrumental in bringing about significant changes around the campus through the following objectives:

  • To be the voice and to act on behalf of JCU Brisbane students to ensure that education continues to be accessible and equitable to all.
  • To promote educational, social, cultural, and recreational student activities.
  • To provide discussion and debates about matters of student interest through which we can help improve all student facilities and services.

We Want You…

The Student Council is always on the lookout for students who share their values of excellence and leadership, and those who want to make a difference.

To express your interest please drop by the Student Resource Centre on Level 2 or email johann.castro@jcub.edu.au

To keep up with all the activities and events hosted by JCU Brisbane Student Council you can follow them on Facebook.
